Living with Chronic Pain (Part 2 my choice for relief)

I discontinued the shots immediately, I got serious about chiropractic care, going three times a week faithfully, and I started to wean myself off the pills. I started with cutting one pain pill in half and reducing my daily meds by just that half pill. I knew that even though I was not physically addicted to the medication, my body had become dependent on having it and even though the relief was no longer what it had been in the beginning, my body thought it needed that medication just like it needed air. I kept strict notes on when I took the medication and how much I took, being careful to never go over the limit of one half a pill less. After one month I eliminated another half a pill, I continued to do this until I was down to no more than one pill a day.

I did not allow my body to tell me what it thought it needed, I was driving this train now, and I called the shots! I started taking handfuls of supplements everyday, religiously, I was introduced to essential oils for relaxation, I listened to music, I forced myself to do stretching and yoga, I had let my authentic self take over and she’s a stubborn, bull-headed Cajun that won’t take no for an answer!

All these things combined helped but it just wasn’t quite enough. That’s when I decided to go full natural and give medical marijuana a try. However, my main problem was I didn’t live in a state where medical marijuana was legal, However, by luck we were traveling to Colorado for a Christmas trip and I decided to get some eatables and see what happened. They did help some but not enough. I needed to find another way. That’s when I found CBD Oil and started to read about how it helps with everything from Fibromyalgia to Lupus to Anxiety and Depression.

CBD Oil worked for me and I am forever grateful I found it. For me it turned out to be the answer I was looking for. I haven’t been able to completely give up the pain pills, but going from 120 pills a month to just 30, for severe days is a miracle for me. I now only take the pain pills for extreme days, mostly the migraine days when I just need to quell the pain and go to sleep. Otherwise, I function at a level I never thought I would get back to had it not been for Cannabinoid or CBD. I’m not saying I’m back to the person I was before my injuries and illness, but I’m also not the person I was 2 years ago, walking around in a black cloud, barely functional. CBD Oil, turned out, with the combination of the other natural therapies I began, to be the answer I was seeking. I can live and on good days I can even cook dinner, work from home, and go on motorcycle rides with my husband, which for me is living compared to existing, which is what I was doing before. My health is getting better the longer I take CBD Oil, combined with other alternative therapies. I am now even able to work 4-6 hours a day from home, writing two blogs. I am even making preparations to expand my business to motivational and natural health education speaking in my local area. This is to a great extent due to CBD Oil! CAUTION!! If you have a job or other circumstance that requires you to drug test use CBD Oil with little to no THC! THC will show on a drug test. This CBD Oil however, does NOT contain any THC!! This makes it the perfect choice for those who want to give it try to see if it’s healing benefits work for them (I’ve never had anyone that did not see positive benefits), without the risk of showing positive for Marijuana on a drug screen.

Our next move was to Michigan and being a Medical Marijuana state, I made an appointment with a doctor, took my medical records, and got my paperwork! My card came in the mail a couple months later and I was on my way to treating naturally.  Tips for first time Medical Marijuana Patients (Part 1).
